RBC Wealth Management Adds to Manager Team

RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, confirmed the appointments of two senior managers, as reported last month by WealthBriefing, and announced two further appointments for its London office.

In the two latest announcements, RBC said it has appointed Konstantinos Dedes as a private banker from Julius Baer. Mr Dedes will focus on growing RBC’s private client base through his contacts in Greece and Cyprus. Mr Dedes reports to Mark Evans, Head of Global Wealth Management, RBC Wealth Management.

Meanwhile, Roberto Islas has joined as a private banker from Clariden, the Swiss bank. Mr Islas will focus on building a book of clients from Latin America. He too will report to Mr Evans.

As exclusively revealed by WealthBriefing last month, Haitham Karaket has joined RBC Wealth Management as managing director in RBC’s Investment Services Group in London, reporting to Phil Cutts, head of advisory, RBC Wealth Management. Barnabus Reynolds has also joined RBC Wealth Management, as a senior investment advisor, from Bear Stearns.

RBC Wealth Management oversees C$240 billion ($235 billion) of assets under management and employs over 4,000 client-facing professionals worldwide.
