RBC GAM Names Former JP Morgan AM Exec As Head Of Asian Equities

RBC Global Asset Management has appointed a new head of Asian equities.
Effective immediately, Mayur Nallamala takes the role of senior portfolio manager and head of Asian equities, based in Hong Kong. Nallamala will be responsible for managing RBC GAM's $1.5 billion in Asian equity sales while leading a team of portfolio managers and analysts in Hong Kong.
Prior to RBC, Nallamala spent eight years at JP Morgan Asset Management in Hong Kong, where he managed $4 billion in Asia-Pacific ex-Japan mandates for sovereign wealth, institutional and retail clients worldwide.
He will be working alongside Adam Matthews, managing director of RBC GAM. Matthews is Nallamala's former colleague who joined the company in 2011.
RBC Global Asset Management, part of RBC Wealth Management, has had a presence in Asia since 1997, providing investment management services to individual high net worth and institutional investors. The firm records some $290 billion in assets under management globally.
