RBC's Wealth Arm Expands California Team

This publication brings latest news of appointments and moves in global wealth management.

RBC Wealth Management has hired Sanya Mulhern as a senior vice president and financial advisor in Palm Desert, California.

Mulhern joins from Merrill Lynch, with 12 years of industry experience and over $150 million in assets under management.

Before entering the financial services sector, she spent eight years in the US Army Reserves as a Russian linguist in the intelligence arena. She joins RBC with Courtney Taylor, a senior registered client associate.

Additionally, in January, the Palm Desert office welcomed the Prentice Group, comprised of financial advisors Tom Prentice and Young Chung.

RBC closed its acquisition of California-based City National Bank in November 2015, which it said creates a “powerful platform for long-term growth in Southern California and the US.”
