Raymond James Names Former UBS CIO As Head Of Tech

Raymond James Financial has hired Bella Loykhter Allaire as head of technology and operations.
Allaire was the chief information officer at UBS and joins Raymond James on 20 June. Prior to UBS, she was a technology strategy consultant to Morgan Stanley and chief executive of Wealthigen. She reports directly to Tom Reilly, chief executive of Raymond James.
Her appointment is supposed to allow chief administrative officer Angela Biever to focus more on the human resources, legal, and procurement and facilities side of the operation, the company said. This will also enable Biever to serve as acting head of HR.
Raymond James operates through three principal business lines and manages around $282 billion in client assets.
