Raymond James Hires Senior VP At Broker-Dealer Unit In Massachusetts

Raymond James has taken on Mark Teed as senior vice president of investments in the Springfield, MA, office of Raymond James & Associates, the broker-dealer subsidiary of New York-listed Raymond James Financial.
Teed started his career in the financial services industry at A G Edwards and stayed with the firm as it transitioned into Wachovia, and later Wells Fargo, where he most recently managed $225 million in client assets.
In a related move, in July Raymond James & Associates appointed Lisa Detanna as senior vice president of investments within its Los Angeles branch. The firm also celebrated its fiftieth anniversary this summer, having “branched out from financial planning” to provide an array of wealth management services, it said at the time.
Through its four broker-dealer subsidiaries, Raymond James Financial has over 6,300 financial advisors across 2,600 locations in the US, Canada and abroad. It has about $372 billion in client assets, some $38 billion of which are managed by the firm’s asset management subsidiaries.
