New Office
Raymond James Expands UK Footprint With New Hire

The wealth manager’s new branch will offer private client solutions and agency-based model portfolios.
Raymond James has established a new branch in Ashton-under-Lyne near Manchester under the leadership of new recruit Philip Howe, a discretionary investment manager.
Howe most recently worked at Towry following the firm’s takeover of Ashcourt Rowan and prior to that, its takeover of UKWM. He joined UKWM in 2011 and ran its model-based service, while heading up the bespoke discretionary arm of the company. He brings 20 years of experience as a financial advisor.
The new branch enhances Raymond James’ presence in the Greater Manchester area, where it already has an office in the city centre.
“Philip has a real breadth of experience – from working in the back office of an asset manager, to being Head of Private Client for the discretionary arm of a national firm of IFAs. We are delighted Philip has joined Raymond James to continue his thriving discretionary investment management business,” said Cynthia Poole, director of relationship management and business support at Raymond James.
