Raymond James Adds To Colorado Office With Team Recruitment

The wealth management firm has brought in a former Wells Fargo advisor overseeing $350 million in assets.
Raymond James
has recruited a former Wells Fargo advisor who
oversaw $350 million in client assets to join its recently opened
office in Denver, Colorado.
Jarrod Biebel joins as senior vice president of investments,
along with Angelica Walter, who also joins from Wells Fargo as
senior registered client service associate. Together, the pair
will operate as First Avenue Wealth Partners.
While at Wells Fargo, Biebel had annual fees and commissions of
more than $2 million. Prior to that, he held numerous advisory
and portfolio management roles at Everen Securities and
Prudential Securities. He kick-started his career with John
Nuveen, an investment manager specialising in dealings with high
net worth investors, as a municpal bond wholesaler.
“Their conservative values align closely with those of Raymond
James, making them a great duo to represent us in the Denver
market,” said Dennis Kaboth, manager of the Denver-Cherry Creek
complex.
The hires continue a string of senior appointments at Raymond
James. Most recently, the firm recruited independent advisors
Jason Croix, Michael MacRory and Jeffrey Shoop in Texas. They
manage a combined total of $466 million in client assets. Also
last month, the Decker Global Wealth Group joined the Annapolis,
Maryland office, having previously worked at the Royal Bank of
Canada.
