Rathbones Investment Management Makes Hire For Winchester Office

Rathbones Investment Management, the UK-based discretionary investment manager, has appointed Edward James-Moore as investment director in its Winchester office. 

James-Moore, with more than ten years’ investment experience, most recently served as a director at HSBC Global Asset Management where he managed over £210 million (around $325 million) of discretionary funds for individual clients, pensions, charities and trusts.  As head of the business’s midland region he was also responsible for new business generation. Before that, James-Moore spent nine years at HSBC having started his career at WH Ireland Stockbrokers.

Reporting to Tim Bolton Carter, regional director for the south west, in his new role, James-Moore will be responsible for managing a range of private client and charity portfolios.

Rathbones Investment Management managed over £19.9 billion in funds, as at 30 June 2013.
