Ralph Lauren Tops Wealth Wear Listing

A recent survey in the US showed Ralph Lauren has the largest unaided mentions among wealthy consumers at 18 per cent and also leads in market share in the past 12 months (13 per cent), most recent purchase (10 per cent) and next purchase consideration (15 per cent). Brands covered, based strictly on unaided mentions (alphabetically) were Ann Taylor, Anne Klein, Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Chico's, Dior, Donna Karan, Gucci, Jones New York, Liz Clairborne, Michael Kors, Prada, Ralph Lauren, St. John, Talbots, Vera Wang, and Versace. A national sample of 1,500 wealthy American consumers, with an average income of $308,000 and average net worth of $3.1 million, was surveyed online.
