The Netherlands' Rabobank has bolstered its global financial markets research team with the hire of Christian Lawrence as an emerging market foreign exchange strategist.

Lawrence will be based in London and report to Jane Foley, senior FX strategist. He will be in charge of developing the existing emerging markets strategy but also help in covering G10 currencies. 

He joins from RBC Capital Markets, where he had been a fixed income and currency strategist since 2007. Before that, he worked on RBC’s structured credit sales desk.
