Quilter Makes Changes To Senior Distribution Team

The firm said that continuing to increase the number of advisors, and in particular, encouraging the next generation to choose financial advice as a profession, is critical to its long?term success

London-headquartered Quilter, a wealth management firm, is making a series of changes to senior roles within its distribution team to support the continued growth of its advisor network.

Steve Fryett, managing director of Quilter Financial Planning, will retire in the summer of 2026 after a career in financial services spanning 38 years. Warren Vickers (main picture), currently commercial director of Quilter Financial Planning, will succeed Fryett as managing director. Vickers will also assume oversight of Quilter’s national advice business, Quilter Financial Advisers.

“As a founder of our advice business with a deep understanding of the needs of advisors and clients, Steve’s leadership and commitment have been instrumental in shaping our business. I cannot thank him enough and wish him all the best as he transitions to retirement,” Steve Gazard (pictured below), chief distribution officer at Quilter, said.

“I’m pleased to confirm that Warren Vickers, who joined us last year as commercial director, will be appointed managing director for Quilter Financial Planning, taking over from Steve when he steps down at the end of the summer,” Gazard added. “Warren will help us continue to grow and support our advisor network. Steve and Warren will work closely together over the next six months to ensure a smooth transition.”

As part of these changes, Quilter will enhance advisor growth and development. From April, Amanda Cassidy (pictured below), managing director of Quilter Financial Advisers, will take on a new role as managing director of Quilter Academy and advisor development.

Amanda and the team have created an enviable business in Quilter Financial Advisers, and she will now focus her passion and dedication on driving the long?term success of our advice business. This includes ensuring new entrants are set up for success,” Gazard said.
