Quilter Financial Planning Welcomes SRB Financial Planning

The new strategic partner firm brings a strong client base to Quilter along with ambition and the capability to increase business.

Quilter Financial Planning, part of FTSE 250 wealth manager Quilter, has welcomed SRB Financial Planning to its advice network as a new strategic partner firm.

SRB Financial Planning, based in Bellshill in Scotland’s central belt, and is run by Steve Brough, principal. The family-run firm, which has approximately £250 million ($334.78 million) of assets under advice, has three advisors supported by a six-person team across paraplanning and client services, delivering financial planning to individuals and business owners. The firm has rebranded from SRB Wealth Management. It was founded in 2010.

“We are delighted to welcome SRB Financial Planning as a new strategic partner firm. Strategic partner firms play an important role within our network, combining strong local client relationships with the ambition and capability to grow their business further,” Warren Vickers, managing director of Quilter Financial Planning, said. “SRB Financial Planning is a well?established, family?run business that has built long?standing relationships with its clients. That continuity, alongside a clear focus on delivering high?quality financial planning, is exactly what we look for in firms joining our network.”

"Choosing a new long-term home for our business and, more importantly, for our clients is the most significant decision we've made. We undertook a comprehensive review of the market, carefully assessing a number of potential partners before ultimately selecting Quilter,” Brough said. “Joining Quilter allows us to build on the relationships we've developed with our clients over many years, while giving them access to a broader range of solutions, a market-leading platform and the reassurance of being supported by one of the UK's leading wealth management businesses.”
