Quilter Continues Regional Expansion Drive With New Dublin Hire

Quilter has bolstered its Dublin office with the appointment of Graham O’Donoghue as an investment manager - a hire which brings the firm’s roster of investment managers in the Irish capital to nine.
O’Donoghue joins from Merrion Stockbrokers, where he had been a portfolio manager. Previously, he worked for Bloxham Stockbrokers and Davy Stockbrokers.
Quilter, part of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, is currently on a recruitment drive across its network of twelve offices in the UK and Jersey, and last week saw the hire of Francis Clayton as an executive director for the firm’s Jersey office. He was previously an investment director at Collins Stewart, where he managed discretionary and advisory portfolios for private clients, trustees and professional intermediaries. He also sat on the firm’s European and US stock selection committees, and was a sector specialist covering oil and gas.
The start of this year has been a busy time for Quilter, with the firm also launching a new office in Llandudno, North Wales, at the beginning of January to serve the region previously managed by the Liverpool office.
