Property Investment Platform Adds To Board

This publication carries latest news of moves and hires in the global wealth management industry.
London-headquartered property investment platform BrickVest has named
Jean-Romain Lhomme, formerly the head of Colony Capital Europe,
to its board, a newly-formed position as it expands
operations. The firm said he is lead investor in the present
fundraising round at BrickVest.
Lhomme co-headed Colony Capital Europe from 2000 to 2015, and was
responsible for identifying, valuing, executing and monitoring
European investments. As an active technology business angel
since 2015, he co-founded PJX10, a laboratory dedicated to
innovative start-ups, with technology entrepreneurs.
BrickVest, which was recently set up, is an example of a new kind
of player in the investment world that seeks to use technologies
such as the internet to break into established business areas
such as real estate. The firm recently issued a report about what
it thinks will be the impact of blockchain technology on the
financial industry. (To view that story,

“I joined BrickVest because of its potential in a growing sector
like proptech [property technology]. I was really impressed by
the founding team and its extensive experience in real estate,
investment services and technology. BrickVest not only merges all
of this experience, but it does so in a way that has shifted the
model of how to invest in real estate across the globe,” Lhomme
said in a statement.
BrickVest recently appointed Remi Antonini, former head of
Goldman Sachs, to its team.
