Profits Up at Royal Bank of Canada (Suisse)

Operating profit at Geneva-based Royal Bank of Canada (Suisse) rose 18 per cent last year to SFr14.8 million ($12.25 million) on 10 per cent higher revenues of SFr43.9 million. Net profit was up 17 per cent to SFr10.0 million and client assets grew 15 per cent to SFr5.3 billion in October, including Sfr1.7 billion of fiduciary investments. The bank employs 89 people and is owned by Royal Bank of Canada, Toronto.
