South Florida-based Professional Bank has expanded its private banking and wealth management operations with a trio of senior hires from Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust Company.

Scott Poulin has been named senior vice president, wealth management, while Philip Gassman and Daniel Martinez have both been appointed senior vice presidents of private banking.

Mr Poulin is a trust and investment management specialist who joins the firm after ten years at Gibraltar Private Bank and Trust Company. In his new role he and his team are responsible for the delivery of all Professional Bank’s investment services including asset allocation, manager selection and performance measurement.

Mr Gassman was formerly senior vice president, private banking at Gibraltar Private Bank and Trust, where he was market manager of the bank’s downtown division. Prior to his eight-year tenure at Gibraltar Mr Gassman was a wealth management advisor at Paine Webber and JB Hanauer.

Mr Martinez also spent over eight years at Gibraltar Private Bank and Trust and was latterly senior vice president and market manager for the South Miami and Coral Gables area, managing a staff of twelve.
