Private Banking Head At NAB Tipped For Big Move Up - Report

Joseph Healy, business and private banking head at National Australia Bank, is being mentioned as a likely big winner in a forthcoming restructuring, and is in line for a major promotion, according to media reports.

The aim, according to the reports, is to reduce new chief executive Cameron Clyne's workload following the consolidation of the role of chief executive Australia with the group CEO position last December. A NAB spokesman has declined to comment.

Mr Clyne has said that he will reveal his strategic plans on 12 March 2009, but also said that any change in the role of an executive who reported to the chief executive "would require an announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange and we've made no such announcement."
