Private Banker To Leave Swiss Central Bank Council

Private banking veteran Konrad Hummler will be leaving the council of the Swiss central bank Banque Nationale Suisse (Swiss National Bank) on 29 April 2011. He has held the post since April 2004.

As a member of the council, Hummler had overseen and monitored business management at SNB; he was also on the risk committee.

Hummler was a founding managing partner of the Swiss private bank Wegelin and chairman of the Swiss Private Bankers Association.
