Princeton-Based Firm Launches New Technology Consultancy Service

Windward Advisory, the Princeton, New Jersey-based technology and operations consulting firm for wealth managers, family offices and hedge funds, has launched a new service to help clients get the most out of their technology spend.

The new offering, called Strategic Technology Advisor, is a retainer-based service which includes regular on-site meetings and ongoing consultation in areas such as how to improve cost-benefits ratios, the development of migration/upgrade strategies and the evaluation of new technology products.

Windward notes that consultants are usually hired on an ad hoc basis for standalone projects and says its new service is more about providing firms with a way to address strategic and tactical issues on an ongoing basis as a means to ensure that they get the best return on investment from their technology spend.

“This service is designed as a long-term relationship with a firm’s management team that can promote clarity and consensus regarding technology issues, while exposing priorities and constraints. The result may be systemic change, incremental steps via better systems integration or attention to adjacent areas and improved business processes,” said Ritch Gaiti, partner at Windward.
