Prime Fund Bolsters Asian Offices With New Hires

Prime Fund Solutions, the hedge fund administration firm, has announced a number of key hires across its Asian offices.

Jay Moghe, the founder of Asian Alternative Consulting, joins the Singapore office as deputy managing director in charge of sales and relationship management. Moghe has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector and has worked with the likes of OPAM/Stork Capital and APS Asset Management.

Martin Lui also joins in as director of client services and operations in the city-state. Lui was most recently with the alternative fund services unit of Citibank. Prior to that, he worked for Bermuda Trust in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The firm also announced appointments to its US offices, naming Jason Ganz as vice president of sales and relationship management in New York and Stephen Kane as manager of middle office services for single manager clients.

Prime Fund Solutions made the news early this month after Fortis announced that it had sold the company to Credit Suisse. Prime Fund was among those badly hit by the Madoff fraud scandal and was recorded to have lost 900 million euros ($110 million). The terms of the sale were not disclosed.
