Premier White-Labels Private Client Services

London-based Premier Asset Management has packaged white-labelled versions of its private client service for two UK regional IFA firms, Money Doctor Financial Planning and Hodge Bakshi Financial Services, to offer to their own clients directly. Simon Weldon, Premier's managing director of sales and marketing, said: "We have our own private client arm and all the business is from advisors, and offering white-labelled versions of that service to them is an extension of that." Premier creates a range of portfolios for IFA firms to offer to clients containing funds, as well as structured products and other asset classes. The range of model portfolios is aimed at clients with a minimum of £25,000 ($51,000) and a maximum of £200,000, with the IFA firms offering portfolios which match a variety of risk profiles including cautious and balanced. Premier already runs the service for Lighthouse Group, having created a range of model portfolios for the firm to offer its clients. Premier, which has around £1.8 billion under management, was subject to a management buy out in September led by chief executive Mike O'Shea. The price is thought to have been around £52 million in cash.
