Portfolio Management Consultancy Launches Research Tool For Advisors

Asset Risk Consultants, a fund and portfolio management consultancy based in the Channel Islands, has launched a research tool for professional private client advisors, aiming to assist them with discretionary investment manager research.

The tool, SUGGESTUS.co.uk, is a free web-based service aiming to provide private client professional advisors with a structured research portal. Its interface will lead to an audit trail covering: investor risk profiling; creation of manager shortlists; mandate specific manager factsheets; due diligence reports.

“Professional wealth advisors are seeking easy access to relevant and timely information and are looking to implement a robust, client-centric manager selection process. SUGGESTUS.co.uk was built to meet this need,” said Jonathan Gamble, director of intermediary services at ARC.

The new site aims to introduce the concept of a standardised due diligence questionnaire. The consultancy has the view that having a library of these questionnaires allows comparison between investment managers to be more straightforward.
