Poland's Millennium Launches Private Banking Business

Poland's Bank Millennium has launched private banking services for its affluent clients with assets in excess of PLN1 million ($300,000); those with assets under this threshold will be able to use the existing Prestige service.

The bank said that setting up the private banking segment was the logical consequence of increased client awareness and business growth, as private banking clients expect a bespoke service. It is offering services in four key areas: relationship management, new credit cards, investment solutions and what it calls value-added services.

Cards available to clients include the Millennium World Debit MasterCard and the Millennium MasterCard World Signia, which would give them access to the world MasterCard reward programme and a credit limit of up to PLN2 million.

The value-added part of the offering includes tax advisory services and art banking.
