Stone has displayed "keen and accurate insight into all asset classes -- even through the recent volatile markets -- helping to map out strategies for all levels of investors," says PNC Wealth Management head Robert Reilly. "His interaction with high-net-worth investors will help to keep him focused on what's most important: our clients, who demand accurate and dependable investment advice."

Stone joined PNC Wealth Management in 2000, most recently as investment director for its Pittsburgh and Boston markets. He has also worked at Smith Barney and at First Western Trust, where, as CIO, he was responsible for more than $750 million in assets.

In his new role, Stone leads a team of analysts that monitors factors influencing the direction of domestic and international markets. He'll also help provide advice around specific investment products. As a member of PNC's investment-policy committee, he'll help define the bank's asset-allocation and portfolio strategies that shape PNC Wealth Management's advice to private and institutional investors.
