Brighton, MI-based Pinnacle Wealth Management, a privately-owned financial planning practice, has brought in Nadine Burns as director of business development.

Burns has worked on assignments with major consumer product companies including Kmart Corporation, Hershey Chocolate, La-Z-Boy and Thetford Corporation. She also served for five years on the board of directors for the Detroit chapter of the American Marketing Association.

The firm said she "enjoys using her teaching experience to help educate people in the area of personal finance."

Pinnacle Wealth Management was established in 2003 by principals Merrick Shipp and Christopher Jeffery.
