PIMCO Makes Senior Hire For London Office

California-based PIMCO, an international investment management firm, has hired Virginie Maisonneuve as managing director, global head of equities and portfolio manager.

Maisonneuve was previously head of global and international equities at Schroders and is expected to assume her role with PIMCO in January of next year, based in its London office.

In her new role, Maisonneuve will be involved in the development and implementation of new equity and asset allocation strategies, the firm said in a statement.

Founded in 1971, PIMCO currently has around $3.2 trillion (£2.04 trillion) in assets under management globally and is owned by German multinational, Allianz.
