Pictet Funds, the fund distribution arm of the Swiss private bank Pictet & Cie, announced that it has appointed Simone Gallo as sales manager for the North American and cross-border distribution team, based in London, with immediate effect.

Gallo joins with seven years of experience at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was most recently the head of global partners, EMEA Third Party Distribution.

In his new role, Gallo will work with fellow sales manager Giacomo Solazzo, and sales analyst Seiji Nishimura. He will take responsibility for fortifying existing relationships and forging new ones with international financial institutions, reporting to Liz Dillon, head of North American and Cross-Border distribution at Pictet Funds.
