Pictet Appoints Former Morgan Stanley Wealth Manager In Zurich

Pictet, the Swiss private bank, has appointed Hans-Georg Schmid, a former senior figure at the wealth management arm of Morgan Stanley.

Pictet, the Swiss private bank, has appointed Hans-Georg Schmid, a former senior figure at the wealth management arm of Morgan Stanley, this publication can confirm.

Schmid is moving to Pictet in Zurich, to run the banking team dealing with German-speaking clients, a spokesperson for Pictet confirmed to WealthBriefing.

The banker will report to Victor Aerni,  head of wealth management for the German-speaking region of Switzerland at Pictet.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Schmid worked at JP Active Morgan and Morgan Guaranty Trust Company.
