Pan-American Life Insurance Group has launched a new private client service that extends its full service life and health insurance offering to high net worth individuals living outside of the US.

Pan-American Private Client, which promises premier health benefits and 24-hour access to agents and medical professionals, includes a wealth management branch wherein policyholders are given the chance to preserve, grow, and transfer wealth. The services are delivered through a network of providers in the US and Latin America.

"[The unit] will function as a sales, marketing and underwriting office developed for this specialized, high growth segment of the insurance industry," commented Jose S Suquet, the chairman, president and chief executive of the company, in a statement.

The company will be led co-led by Bruce Parker as president for global life, and Michael Carricarte as president for international major medical. Coverage is underwritten by Pan-American Assurance Company International.
