Oracle Capital Group Launches Service Advising Investors On Art

Luxembourg-headquartered Oracle Capital Group has launched an art advisory service for clients looking to invest or maintain collections in the fine art market.
Oracle
Capital Group, the global independent multi-family office and
wealth consultancy which expanded further into the Russia market
last year, has launched an art advisory service for clients
looking to invest or maintain collections in the fine art
market.
The service gives clients access to a panel of experts who can
advise on specific paintings, periods and movements, the firm
said in a statement. Its focus will ensure that those investing
for the first time or those already with paintings and
collections are given expert advice around key valuation issues
including trends, authenticity and emerging art markets.
The group said James Butterwick, described as of the world’s
leading experts on Russian art, will join the panel. Butterwick
is the only foreign member of the Russian Society of Private
Collectors and in 2008 he became the only foreign member of the
International Confederation of Antique and Art Dealers of Russia
and the CIS and in 2013 was voted into the prestigious Society of
London Art Dealers.
Oracle already has several ties to the arts having recently
sponsored the Houghton Revisited exhibition, which saw
masterpieces by Van Dyck, Poussin, Rubens, Rembrandt and
Velazquez reassembled in their original setting of Houghton Hall
for the first time in over 200 years.
Headquartered in Luxembourg, the group provides services for
high-net-worth individuals and their families, including
investment advisory, wealth structuring and asset protection,
asset financing and insurance, legal case management, property
development, and concierge services from its seven offices in
London, Luxembourg, Geneva, Nassau, Moscow, Almaty and Limassol.
Last October, Oracle set up a strategic alliance with Third Rome Group - the Russia/CIS-focused wealth manager - to expand its presence within the Russian investment services and wealth management markets. Under that agreement, Oracle Capital Group acquired, for an undisclosed sum, a blocking stake in the Third Rome Group holding company. The agreement will enable Oracle Capital Group to expand its service offering and increase its exposure within the Russian wealth markets.
