The board of directors of the Oppenheimer Trust Company has appointed Theron Huntting Worth (Hunt) as president of the institution, promoting him from chief trust officer and interim chief operating officer, the firm said in a statement.

He initially joined Oppenheimer in July 2007 as senior vice president and senior trust officer, before which he worked at Wachovia Trust Company as a vice president and senior trust advisor.

Oppenheimer Trust Company offers trust and estate services to high net worth individuals and families, not-for-profit organisations and businesses.
