One New Face, One Farewell - Sesame Bankhall Board

UK-based Sesame Bankhall Group, the network support service for financial advisors, has appointed Nick Criticos to its board as an independent non-executive director, subject to approval by the Financial Services Authority. SBG has confirmed that Mike Chadwick will be leaving the board at the end of March 2013, after six years as an independent non-executive director.
Criticos is a qualified actuary with over 25 years industry experience, predominantly in the investment sector, where he has held senior roles for companies including Royal & Sun Alliance, ISIS Asset Management and F&C REIT Asset Management, where he is currently chief executive.
“This move reflects the continuing evolution of SBG, with our new wealth management arm and the launch of Optimum Investment Management …We look forward to benefiting from Nick’s investment management expertise and strategic input as we develop this further for the benefit of advisors and their clients,” Ivan Martin, the group’s executive chairman, said in a statement.
SBG currently has two other independent non-executive directors: Diana Miller, who was appointed in November 2012; and John Cowan, who has sat on the board since 2009.
