Old Mutual Wealth Non-Exec Director, Intrinsic Chairman To Step Down

Lord Leitch has been chairman of Intrinsic Financial Services since the company was established in 2006, and a non-executive director of Old Mutual Wealth since September 2014.

Old Mutual Wealth has said that Lord Leitch will step down from his positions as non-executive director of the firm's board and as chairman of the Intrinsic Financial Services board at the end of March.

Gregor Stewart, who has been an independent non-executive director of Intrinsic since September 2015, will become chairman of the Intrinsic Financial Services board on 1 April, subject to regulatory approval.

Gill Davidson will replace Wallace Dobbin, who recently announced his retirement, as chief risk officer. Dobbin will become a non-executive director of the Intrinsic Financial Services board in May 2017, also subject to regulatory approval.

“Sandy’s [Lord Leitch] contribution to Intrinsic, as well as Old Mutual Wealth, has been immense. As a founding shareholder, director and chairman of Intrinsic, he has been pivotal to the success of our business through its start-up phase and was instrumental in the acquisition of the business by Old Mutual Wealth in July 2014,” said Andy Thompson, chief executive of Intrinsic Financial Services.
