Old Mutual International Taps Legal & General Marketing Leadership For New Role

The international provider of investment solutions has created a marketing leadership role as part of its growth drive.

Old Mutual International, part of the UK's Old Mutual Wealth, has hired Karen Blatchford from Legal & General as its new head of international marketing.

Blatchford joins from Legal & General Investment Management where she was sales and marketing director responsible for the retail investment proposition. Before this, she held various marketing leadership roles at Legal & General.

In the new role, Blatchford will lead Old Mutual International's marketing team and develop the opportunities within its vertically integrated model. She will help lead the cohesion with Quilter Cheviot and Old Mutual Global Investors, both part of Old Mutual Wealth, to enhance the investment solutions available to international advisors and customers. In addition, she will help the business grow its footprint in its core international markets.

Based in London, Blatchford will report to Michelle Andrews, marketing director for Old Mutual Wealth.
