Old Mutual Appoints Three Non-Executive Directors

Old Mutual Wealth, comprising Skandia and Old Mutual Global Investors, has appointed three independent non-executive directors to its board.

Jane Hanson and Simon Davies have been appointed for an initial term of three years, while Ashok Gupta has been appointed for a one-year term to provide continuity from the former holding company board of Skandia Life to the board of Old Mutual Wealth.

Davies previously held directorships at Intrinsic, Sound Oil, Thames Water Pensions and Cofunds. He was also the chairman and chief executive officer at Threadneedle and held senior roles at Gartmore. In addition, he will chair Old Mutual Wealth’s remuneration committee.

Before joining Old Mutual, Hanson was risk and governance director at Aviva and a director at KPMG. She will also chair Old Mutual Wealth’s board risk committee.

Gupta was previously an operating partner at Pearl Group, director of group strategy at CGU (now Aviva) and finance director at Scottish Amicable. He will chair Old Mutual Wealth’s audit committee.
