Ohio Bank Appoints JP Morgan Veteran To Lead Wealth Services
Akron, OH-based FirstMerit has appointed Michael Robinson as executive vice president, wealth management services.
Robinson joins from JP Morgan Chase, where he spent 27 years and held a number of leadership roles within the bank’s wealth management business.
At FirstMerit he is responsible for delivering on all the bank’s wealth management lines such as private banking, trust and investment management services, as well as First Family and FMER Financial Services.
He will relocate to Northeastern Ohio for the role and report to Paul Greig, chairman, president and chief executive of FirstMerit.
The bank operates in Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and Chicago, IL.
