Offshore Law Firm Makes Trio Of Promotions

The law firm has promoted three of its advocates to the rank of partner.
Guernsey-based advocates Elaine Gray, Natasha Kapp and Tony Lane have been promoted to partners at offshore law firm Carey Olsen, bringing the firm’s total partner number to 45 across the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey, it said yesterday.
Gray joined the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice as counsel in 2012. She advises local and international clients on commercial litigation, employment and intellectual property matters and is recognised as an authority on employment, IP and complex trust disputes.
Kapp joined the fiduciary practice as a senior associate in 2009. She deals with all aspects of fiduciary law and regulation as well as contentious and non-contentious trusts issues and non-contentious insurance matters.
Lane joined the corporate team in Guernsey as a senior associate in 2008. He advises on a wide range of corporate matters with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions; he also advises on the establishment, regulation and operation of investment funds.
