Bedell, the offshore law firm, has appointed Marvin Pemsing to its private wealth management and funds team in Mauritius.

Pemsing, who has a varied range of financial industry experience across institutions operating within Mauritius, has worked for HSBC Mauritius and, most recently, Deutsche Bank.

Pemsing’s experience has included the setting up and administration of Mauritian global business companies, trusts, foundations and investment funds. He also holds specialist skills in regulatory and financial services frameworks in Mauritius, in relation to both banks and other finance industry institutions, the firm said.

In his new role, Pemsing will support Bedell’s wealth management and funds offering, as well as further developing and servicing Bedell’s clients and intermediaries internationally.
