Moore, a Jersey and Bemuda-based provider of fund management, fund administration and corporate services, is opening a London office to be headed by Simon Chadwick. He joins from Bear Stearns Asset Management where he was a managing director in the private funds group. His other experience includes 12 years with the Schroder group. He is a specialist in private equity fund related business and has previously lived and worked in Japan, one of Moore’s key markets. His role is to lead new business development for the Moore group, with a particular focus on private equity funds, art funds and cross-border opportunities relating to Japan. Ian Moore, chief executive, said: “The opening of London and Tokyo offices this year brings us closer to current and prospective clients for our range of offshore fund administration and management services”.
