Odey Wealth, Asset Management Businesses Hire In Guernsey And London

Odey Wealth Management, the partner-owned, Guernsey-based business, has hired Sarah Thomson-Kennedy as client relations manager and Adrian Norman as operations manager. Meanwhile, Tim Bond, the former head of global asset allocation at Barclays Capital, has joined the firm’s UK-based sister business Odey Asset Management, according to media reports.

Thomson-Kennedy joins the firm from Credit Suisse, where she worked for the last ten years and was latterly a vice president; prior to this she worked at Kleinwort Benson for seven years. Norman, meanwhile, joins the firm from Ogier.

Tim Bond, who left Barclays Capital after 12 years there this June, has reportedly joined Odey Asset Management as an investment strategist, and is expected to start running money and launch a fund at a later date, according to Investment Week.

Odey Asset Management was founded in 1991 by Crispin Odey; Odey Wealth Management was launched in 2008 and has teams in London and Guernsey.
