NYSSA To Host Discussion on Asset Manager Search and Selection

While global markets have staged a partial recovery, AUM levels along with investor confidence remain significantly below peak levels of the years before the credit crunch. Uncertainty still lingers about a variety of topics, including potential inflation or deflation, possible property bubbles in Asia, massive deficits in developed economies in response to the crisis, and stubbornly high unemployment rates around the world.  Trust also needs to be rebuilt following events such as the Madoff  Ponzi scheme.

The New York Society of Security Analysts will address these issues at its 5th annual Manager Search and Selection conference on May 12th in New York City. Speakers will discuss the lessons learned, improvements to the diligence process on both the operational and investment sides, and investment strategies across key asset classes attracting the most attention now.
