NS Partners Names New Spanish Head

The new country manager for Spain has more than 20 years of experience in private banking, wealth advisory and financial structuring for ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and institutions.
NS Partners has appointed Alvaro López-Aranda Robles (pictured) as country manager for Spain to head NS Partners (Europe)’s Spanish branch and lead the development of the firm’s private and institutional business in the Spanish market.
López-Aranda Robles has more than 20 years of experience in private banking, wealth advisory and financial structuring for ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and institutions. He was most recently senior ultra-high net worth individual strategy consultant at OpenWealth, part of the CaixaBank Group, where he played a central role in building the group's multi-family office and independent advisory business. His earlier career includes leadership roles at Barclays Wealth, and a foundation in financial tax law and M&A at Garrigues & Andersen, the firm said in a statement.
His appointment, which underscores the firm’s commitment to long-term development and continuity in the Spanish market, also marks the beginning of a leadership transition at the Spanish branch. Juan Carlos Hergueta is gradually stepping aside from his executive responsibilities following years of "dedicated service" as country head for Spain. NS Partners thanked Hergueta for his contribution to the growth of the Spanish business and his commitment to the firm and its clients.
Geneva-headquartered NS Partners, a wealth and asset manager which manages over SFr13 billion ($16 billion) in assets, has operated in Spain since 2001 under the EU freedom to provide services and established a permanent branch in 2012.
