Northwest Property Investment Firm Appoints New CIO

Urban Renaissance Group, a Seattle-based property firm, has appointed John Bliss as its chief investment officer.

Mr Bliss previously held the same role at Metzler North America and as a senior vice president at Unico Properties in Seattle.

“Many of the properties that were acquired or refinanced in the past five years are now left with problematic capital structures, which will result in opportunities for the right real estate investor, said Patrick Callahan, founder and CEO of Urban Renaissance Group.

“John [Bliss] has the depth of experience in large real estate transactions to position us well to capitalize on what we expect to happen in the market over the next six to 36 months.”
