Advisor desktop tech provider taps former Odyssey executive Candyce Cohen. Advisor-application integrator NorthStar Systems International has named Candyce Cohen, Odyssey Financial Technologies' former v.p. of sales and marketing, as its new head of "industry solutions."

Dynamic change

Drawing on her experience in wealth-management technology and business consulting, Cohen will work with NorthStar's institutional clients to iron out problems and implement "best fit" fixes for advisors.

In addition to working at front- and middle-office service provider Odyssey, Cohen also worked at Integrated Decision Systems (now part of CheckFree Investment Services) and at Eagle Asset Management, which is part of Raymond James Financial.

"The wealth-management industry faces dynamic change in terms of compliance regulation, product offerings, business practices, and investor expectations," says Cohen. "NorthStar's solutions streamline complex environments, leverage existing infrastructures, and bring new efficiencies to wealth-management firms."
