Northern Trust Boosts Risk, Performance Graphics Of Investment 'Dashboard'

Northern Trust, the US banking group, has added enhanced graphics of performance and risk related information to its investment analysis tool Fundamentals Dashboard.
The addition of the new graphics is intended to help clients process large amounts of complex information in order to sift out the most important elements quickly.
"The value of timely information that highlights important elements, as defined by our clients, has increased with the greater level of market volatility. The Fundamentals Dashboard allows our clients to easily understand large volumes of information and identify outliers via the use of enhanced graphics on a single client portal that is available globally,” said Paul d'Ouville, global head of asset servicing product management at Northern Trust.
The Fundamentals Dashboard, which is delivered via Passport, Northern Trust’s online data platform, is available to asset managers and institutional investors, such as pension funds, endowments, foundations and corporations.
In addition to performance and risk related information, future phases of development will add summary level predictive risk and attribution results to the Fundamentals Dashboard, Northern Trust said.
Northern Trust's Investment Risk & Analytical Services include risk monitoring and measurement, performance measurement and analysis, private equity analytics and other speciality services.
At 31 December 2008, Northern Trust had $3 trillion in assets under custody and $559 billion in assets under management.
