Nies Financial Group, based in Sartell, Minnesota, is set to merge with KDV Wealth Management, a regional financial services and CPA firm.

KDV said the merger would broaden its portfolio expertise, services and clients as it continues its expansion.

Loren Viere, chief executive of KDV, highlighted the similar investment philosophies shared by the two firms in a statement on the merger.

Nies Financial Group focuses on financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning and portfolio allocation, and is led by Royce Nies, chief executive.

KDV Wealth Management offers a range of business and financial services designed to help clients increase efficiency and financial performance. Its areas of expertise include certified public accounting, income tax, outsourced technology, outsourced payroll, wealth management, business valuation, and advisory services.
