NFP Adds Industry Veteran To Board Of Directors

National Financial Partners, the financial services firm that caters to high net worth individuals and companies, has added J Marry Griswell to its board of directors.

Griswell used to be the chairman and chief executive officer of Principal Financial Group and has three decades of experience in the industry. His election into the NFP board brings the firm's director roster to eight and independent directors to six. All existing members of the board were re-elected, the company said in a statement.

The re-elected members include Jessica Bibliowicz, the chairman of National Financial Partners Corp; Stephanie Abramson professor of law at New York University; Arthur Ainsberg, chief operating officer of Lehman Brothers in liquidation; R Bruce Callahan, chairman emeritus of NFP Insurance Services; John Elliott, dean of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College; Shari Loessberg, senior lecturer at MIT, and Kenneth Mlekush, the ex-vice chairman of Jefferson Pilot Financial Corp.
