New York Law Firm Adds to Trusts, Estates Expertise

Hartman & Craven, a New York-based law firm, said it has added new members to its trusts and estates practice. Joining the firm are Caryn Keppler-Citrin, who will be a partner, Aleena Shapiro, who joins as counsel. Meanwhile, Gwyneth Nardi, a fiduciary administrator, has also joined the trusts and estates practice group.
Ms Keppler-Citrin brings more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of estate, gift, tax, and business succession planning. Her areas of expertise include international estate and tax planning for high net worth individuals; succession planning for small- to mid-sized business owners; contested and uncontested estate administration and litigation; and prenuptial agreements as an integral part of estate planning.
Previously, she was counsel in the trusts and estate practice areas at Salans (formerly Christy & Viener) and Saretsky, Katz, Dranoff & Glass.
Ms Shapiro’s expertise includes planning, probate, and administration of trusts and estates; tax planning for high net worth individuals and for mid-sized businesses; and succession planning.
Ms Shapiro was previously the founder and managing partner of Shapiro and Wender.
