New York Appoints Team to Expand Private Banking
New York-based Signature Bank has appointed its fifty-first private client banking team. The new team will be based in the bank’s 261 Madison Avenue office in Manhattan. George Maroulis, named group director and senior vice president at Signature Bank, will head the team. He joins from Bank of America’s Business Banking Group based in midtown Manhattan, where he most recently served as a client development manager, focusing on both sourcing new commercial clients and managing business relationships. The new team also includes Valentin Kovalyov and Neelum Malkani, both of whom were appointed associate group directors and vice presidents at Signature Bank. Previously, Kovalyov was an assistant banking center manager for Bank of America’s Broadway branch in the Wall Street area. She also worked as a relationship manager in the Capital Markets Group at European American Bank and at Citibank. Also joining the Maroulis team at 261 Madison Avenue is Fatima Corcino, who has been appointed senior client associate. Signature Bank has 19 private client offices located in the New York metropolitan area, serving the needs of privately owned businesses, their owners and senior managers through dozens of private client groups.
