New Wealth Management Director At Santa Barbara Bank & Trust

Santa Barbara Bank & Trust has appointed veteran banker Leo Hamill as wealth management director.

Hamill brings over 15 years of trust administration, investment management, private banking and brokerage experience to the role. Before SBB&T, he was a regional director at Wells Fargo Bank in Sacramento, where he led the Northern and Central California markets.

At Santa Barbara, he oversees the trust services and investment management divisions, as well as the wholly-owned subsidiaries Registered Investment Advisors, Morton Capital Management and RE Wacker Associates.

SBB&T has around 47 branches across the Central Coast and specializes in commercial banking, wealth management and community banking services. Pacific Capital Bancorp changed its banking subsidiary name to Santa Barbara Bank & Trust in July 2011 as part of a rebranding effort.
